so much to say, very little time to compose a good blog post.
But when I do, I'll tell you all about the holidays, and my New Years!
Also, considering switching to tumblr? But I would hate to abandon my blog here <3
As for now, curly hair for the first time in months!

OH and question for readers...what do you think of Tumblr.com as a website? Check out my new one and let me know if it's worth keeping. Hope you had a great weekend!

i've had no time to upload and post my pictures
...so I'll let you read another poem I wrote. The prompt for this was to pick a color, and write about about it. I actually think subconsciously it may have been inspired by how much I hated my first year of college, and never being able to sleep away from home (i'm much happier than this now!) Let me know what you think.
the black
Black is a gift,
Black is a curse,
The night,
Why can’t I sleep?
Black brings dark shadows,
Confusion,
Exhaustion,
Possible hatred
Life in the dark,
Deep and forgiving,
Hope for it to end,
Or to stay.
Black eyeliner,
Contrast to the pillow,
I do not rest my head
Black bruises,
Contrast to my skin
I do not feel them anymore
The black makes me numb
The black crow,
Sitting,
Lurking,
Outside in the black
I picture it pick and prod,
The thoughts the black brings
The black,
The inspiration
Black gives me life,
The night is my mother,
The crow, my closest friend
I still feel alone
I still feel alone

night of change
the photograph takes me back to a time
he was a stranger
my eyes were bright
decisions made shifting opinions
life changes eventually
loud parties morph
a quiet office
but this was different
youth in our veins
i stole his hat
he stole a kiss
he felt different to me
closest friends
closest friends
growing closer
attraction without force
people everywhere his voice resonates
i reach for his drink
he reaches for my hand
i feel alive
life changed here
a rush a relief
a lack of trust a leap of faith
exploring uncharted emotions
he pulls me close
please don’t let go
my universe shiftsThis was written for my Creative Writing course this semester.
It is based on this picture, which means a lot to me.

Hiiiiii. I haven't been able to post much lately! So busy, between Christmas shopping, finals, work, and the amount of hot-chocolate-making that I have been doing! And I still have lots to do (NO CHRISTMAS TREE YET!!!) In the next week or so, I plan to tell you about some of my little adventures, with some pictures, and prove that I've been constantly on the gooooo. I'm itching to write a nice little pre-Christmas/Christmas spirit post! But once again, work beckons...and yet again, I have to postpone :/ mehhhh.......

what my christmas list looked like
My mom needed a guide so this is what I made her, I know its kind of lame. I didn't really need anything so I'm just asking for clothes, accessories, and knitting supplies (I really wanna learn)! ALSO I'm SOOO EXCITED to GIVE too!

motivated!
lets get physical,physical!
With Christmas almost here, and the realization that I want all new clothes, I have decided to get myself back in shape! Since I was a child, I have always been active and have exercised. I played basketball in college up until this year, and I was constantly doing things to stay healthy. Now, seeing as how I work so often and go to school for the rest of my daytime hours, I have been less motivated to get up and DO SOMETHING, yet I know how important it is. There are so many benefits that come from working out, and right now, I'd like to see myself looking good and a little smaller in my new clothes to come! SO. on that note. I am going to begin walking four miles a day, while being cautious of what I eat, as well as drinking more water. If I do these three things, I can feel better and look better in no time. Eventually, I'd even like to take a Zumba class (they look so fun!). So for the first time in awhile, I finally feel that I have somewhere to start and I am confident that I can achieve my goal. I'm sure this will make me feel alot better about myself too! So I'm really happy. Thanks for letting me share, I'll keep you updated!

forever ago
...is the last time I wrote a blog entry! It seems like its been an awful long time since my last one. I have been real busy between my school semester winding down, and work, and I haven't had much "down time". This weekend I was able to do alot of things including:
-see "Love and Other Drugs" with Jordan, which I really enjoyed.
-Watch my sister start her high school basketball game. In 3 games she has scored over 60 points as a freshman on varsity... that's pretty damn good! I'm such a proud sister. It's funny too, because at the games I scream louder than most of the coaches, yes... I'm THAT girl. Watching her play made me really miss playing/want to start playing again.
-Spend some quality time with my family AND Jordan's family. He got a family portrait done, which was quite amusing and my dad was able to master making a dish for dinner, Baked Ziti, which was impressive.
-Work at my farmer's market where I saw my little 6 year old friend Cooper, he's the best!
-Spend some time with my life long friend, Nicole and share some laughs with her.

-Eat a delicious meal at TGI Fridays....Bruchetta Chicken Pasta mmmmmm.
-Get a few naps in, here and there, as I know there will be no napping during the week.
-Made a list of things to do over Christmas break with Jordan which I will share with you all later!
-took a few shitty quality photo's to document (above)
